Ratings
Ratings published in the July 2008 FIDE list will be used for this tournament. Results will be sent to ECF for grading as well as FIDE for rating.
Time Control
The event will be using the Fischer time control of 40 moves in 80 minutes then an additional 20 minutes to complete the game, plus 30 seconds per move from move 1.
Lunch Break
We will guarantee every player at least a 30 minute break between games. Should any morning game finish late, the start time of the affected players afternoon games will be delayed to allow the full break to be enjoyed.
The tournament will be held at The Plough Inn, Station Road, Littlethorpe, Leicester, LE19 2HS (click here for a map).
Players will benefit from the excellent range of snacks, bar meals and restaurant dining available at The Plough. Accommodation is available locally (within walking distance) for which details are available on request. The venue is just 3 minutes walk from Narborough train station.
